Please allow me to extend my heartfelt condolences for the recent loss of your loved one. I, too, have lost a family member and feel that pain.I was comforted by the realization of the resurrection hope that was promised at Acts 17:31 in the Bible where God furnished a guarantee to all men in that He resurrected his Son from the dead. Since the word resurrected means a “restanding to life” our loved ones would be sleeping in death. Jesus said this when referring to his friend Lazarus at John 11:11; “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.”With such wonderful prospects for the return of the dead, the Bible speaks comfortingly how they will return to a cleansed earth, a new world of God’s making, to be joined with their loved ones. If I can be of further comfort to you, please feel free to write to me at the above address. I would love to answer any questions that you might have. Be assured of my deepest sympathy.
