Edwin "Ed" Adler, Jr. Obituary

Edwin “Ed” Adler, Jr., 87 of Braddock Hills passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 23, 2024.  He was born in Pittsburgh to the late Edwin Sr and Dorothy Adler.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret I. Adler and sister Diane R. Adler.  Ed retired from Kopp Glass after 37 years as a color and focus Inspector.  He was an avid hunter, model railroader and stamp collector.  He was a member of American Coaster Enthusiast Club and Kennywood Roller Coaster Enthusiast.  He was the former Braddock Hills Fire Chief.  He is survived by his son Matthew C. Adler of Braddock Hills and his sister Dorothy (Ed) Weimer of Plum; also several nieces.  Family and friends will be received at the Robert P. Karish Funeral Home at our New Location, 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (Jobe FH Chapel) – Two Funeral Homes sharing one facility (412) 271-3430 on THURSDAY 2- 6 pm Concluding with a Firemen’s Service at 6 p.m.  Burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.  www.robertpkarishfh.com.
