Lawrence G. Domencic

Lawrence G. Domencic, age 95, of Penn Twp. passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. Larry was born on March 24, 1929 in Turtle Creek, PA to Nikola and Barbara (Evanish) Domencic. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War Era and a member of the American Legion in Murrysville. His memberships included the Knights of Columbus at St. Barbara and the Croatian Fraternal Union while being a strong supporter of the Tamburitzans. Larry had a very rewarding career of over 40 years with the Union Railroad. Larry is survived by his beloved spouse of 61 years, Arlene (Mauck); children, Nicole (Mark) Primmer, David (Jennifer) Domencic, and Chris (Rachel) Domencic; grandchildren, Ava, Mia, Noah, Aidan, Justin, Ryan, Nick, Brayden, and Jordan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by twin infant granddaughters, Angelina and Savannah and six siblings, Frank, Helen, Emily, Joe, Mary and Jean. Friends will be received Friday, April 19, 2024, 3-7 PM at the Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City (724-744-2721). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10 AM St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City. Private interment will occur at Arlington National Cemetery.
