William L. Volkar, 65, of Penn Township, passed away in his home on Saturday, April 2, 2022. He was born on February 6, 1957 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Louis and Margaret (Rudlowski) Volkar. Bill worked for Penn-Trafford School District for many years. He was a member of Norwin Elks, Bushy Run American Legion, PA Federation of Sportsmen and Conservationists, Penn Rod and Gun Club, Arlington Sportsmen's Club, Westmoreland County Sportsmen's League, and president/treasurer and steward of SNPJ Lodge 41. Bill enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing. He liked to work on cars and was self-taught in doing body work. He was an avid Black and Gold fan who loved all Pittsburgh sports. Bill is survived by three sisters and a brother, Beverley Stotera, Marge (Joe) Busato, Flo (Lenny) Cole, and James (Marlene) Volkar; and several nieces and nephews.
