William J. Sekora Jr.

William J. Sekora Jr, 63, of Penn Township, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at his residence. He was born February 1, 1958 in Greensburg, to William and Rachel (Smith) Sekora. Bill dedicated his life to public service. He was a paramedic with Jeannette EMS, Penn Township EMS and Monsour Hospital Paramedic Unit. He had served as the past Chief of Penn Township EMS, and was a former member of Grandview Volunteer Fire Department and the Westmoreland County Hazmat Team 800. He was also a Paramedic Instructor for many years. In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his son, Matthew (Gretchen Kuhns) Stewart; sister, Cheryl (Dom) Fanell; and nephew, Jeremy Fanell and his daughter Micaelah. He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Sekora, Sr. Friends will be received Thursday, October 14 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in TwinValley Memorial Park. FACIAL COVERINGS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL INDOOR SERVICES.
