Obituary

On 15 April 2022, a beautiful, warm spring day, William G. "Bill" Leonard II passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Bill was born 8 Dec 1996 in Bristol, PA to parents Roger D. Leonard Sr and Shirlane A. Leonard. Bill is survived by his twin brother Roger D. Leonard Jr and his sister Rebecca D. Leonard. Bill is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins and his girlfriend Hailie Stover. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William G. and Margaret E. Leonard, and maternal grandparents Anthony P. and Florence P. Olszewski. Bill had countless friends and was always quick to laugh and help anyone anytime. Bill was a heavy equipment operator by trade and served his community as a Sr. Firefighter with Station 63 in Claridge, PA. Bill led a life of service, first on many service projects as a Boy Scout where he achieved the Order of the Arrow and Eagle Scout, and later as a firefighter, selflessly helping people in their time of need. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with vehicles, and spending time with friends around a nice campfire, whether around home or with the McGraw Beach Road Crew at his camp in Bedford, PA. His many good traits and deeds are a testament to his character. He was a gentleman and the best son, brother, or friend that a person could want. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 20 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21 at 11 AM with Rev.
