Walter “Walt” Profota, age 73, of Plum, PA, joined his Lord and Savior after valiantly battling cancer. He died at Forbes Hospital, with his loving daughter by his side on June 2, 2021. Walt was born on March 5, 1948, in Butler, PA, to the late Walter and Stella (Mekle) Profota. After Walt retired from the Autoclave Lab of Westinghouse Research and Technology Center, he spent his retirement years taking motorcycle trips with his wife Linda and walking his dog Chance. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Barnett) Profota; two daughters, JoAnn Walsh and Raelynn Bermann (husband Ted); three grandchildren, Jesse Profota, Isabela and Johanna Bermann; and his brother, Robert and family. A celebration of life will be held at Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 120 Gernert Drive, Verona, PA on Wednesday, June 9th from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend in person, you can attend via Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84725947208.
