Virginia Lou (Gressman) Rubright

Virginia Lou (Gressman) Rubright, 89, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was born July 15, 1932 in McCullough, to Daniel and Edith (Hizer) Gressman. Virginia operated Rubright's Greenhouse for 15 years, was very active with the Community United Methodist Church and Meals on Wheels. She was a life-long gardener and loved to cook, bake and crochet. She was also active with the Senior Citizens, and would run their many bus trips. Most importantly, she was very dedicated to her family, and extremely proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her son, Terry D. (Marilou) Rubright; daughter-in-law, Beverly Rubright; grandchildren, Karrie (Rob) Gutwald, Kevin (Gina) Rubright, Tyler (Samantha) Rubright, Karlee Rubright, Nathan (Molly) Rubright, Grace (fiancé Tanner Parsons) Rubright, and honorary granddaughter, Kasey Riddle; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Annabelle, Kolsen, Virginia and Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Dale Rubright; son, Keith Alan Rubright; and siblings John Gressman, Elaine Shray, Yvonne Kunkle, Donna McGakey, Janice Giviski, Linda Hawes and Judith Gressman. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, October 12 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 13 at 11 AM, with Rev. John Ciampa, officiating. Burial will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
