Obituary
Age 80, of Monroeville passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born on December 1, 1942, to the late Alfred and Nellie (Quinn) Anderson. Loving mother of Kathleen A. Nandan, Mary Jo (Thomas) Lyons, Michael E. (Jennifer) Handke, and Tricia A. Handke; cherished grandmother of Emilia, Colin, Henry, Maya, Brendan, Max, and Joey; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 27 years, Patrick. She enjoyed spending time at Virginia Beach with her family and playing bingo at the senior center. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader for her children and at the rectory at St. Bernadette's Church. Family and friends will be received Sunday, January 22, 2023, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church-Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish on Monday at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
