Vincent James Pietropola, 71, of Penn Township, lost his courageous battle with Crohn's Disease on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He was born on May 30, 1950 in Pittsburgh, one of four sons of the late Anthony and Mary (Siciliano) Pietropola. Vince was a proud graduate of Penn State University, where he met his wife, beginning a family tradition of his three children attending Penn State. He was a successful businessman and owner of MVP Leasing. He loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, gambling, taking trips to Happy Valley for football games, and spoiling his cherished grandkids. Vince is survived by his beloved wife, Patty; two sons and a daughter, Mark (Meredith) Pietropola, Brad (Amie) Pietropola, and Tara (Thomas) Rurak; five grandchildren, Aubrey and Andrew Pietropola, Kelsey Pietropola, and Lilia and Jacob Rurak; three brothers, Anthony (Anne) Pietropola, Gary (Virginia) Pietropola, Thomas (Nancy) Pietropola; a sister-in-law, Gail Latimer; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Monday, January 24 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 25 at 11 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City. Interment will follow in the Plum Creek Cemetery. Vince's family requires that visitors wear a mask in attendance for visitation and all services.
