Dwight D. "Trey" Brown III, age 27, of Penn Township, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Trey was born on May 24, 1996 in Monroeville, and was the son of Dwight "Doug" Jr. and Lisa (Correll) Brown of Penn Township. Trey graduated from Penn Trafford High School 2015 where he participated and lettered for the men’s golf team. He went on to graduate Cum Laude from University of Pittsburgh Greensburg campus in 2019. He was a Business major and was also part of the men’s golf team for all 4 years at UPG. After graduation Trey was a management trainee from 2019 to Spring 2020 at Enterprise USA. He moved on to a position at UPMC from 2021 to 2022. After UPMC, Trey moved to the order coordinator at Leybold USA, INC. Trey was an avid golfer and loved to participate in as many outings as possible. He was very helpful with anyone that asked him to show them how to play the game. Trey also participated in several Fantasy Football leagues and always found a way to come out on top as the champion. In addition, Trey was an animal lover and his pet dog Maci will undoubtedly miss his presence. Trey is survived by his parents, Doug and Lisa; his sister, Alyssa (husband Brett) Arnold; niece, Parker Arnold; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dwight D. Brown, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, William and Dolores Correll. Friends will be received Friday, November 3rd from 4-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4th at 10 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 111 Raymaley Road, Harrison City, Father Michael P. Sikon, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Trey's memory are strongly encouraged to be made to an Animal Rescue Organization of your choice.
