Samuel H. Jones Sr. 
Age 91, of Washington Twp., formerly of Turtle Creek, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Lois Jean (Drish) Jones; loving father of Sandra (David) Kocinski, Cherilyn K. Burton and James W. (Terri) Jones. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great- grandchildren; sister, Mary Kelley; sister-in-law, Lavonne Buttyan; and brother-in-law, James Drish. In addition to his wife, Samuel was preceded in death by his parents Norman Jones and Susan (Letham) Boone-Jones; son, Samuel Jones Jr.; and brothers, Robert and Norman Jones. Samuel was an engineer for the Union Railroad for 41 years. He loved country music, watching football and baseball, and going camping and traveling with his family. Friends will be received Monday 1-3 & 5-7 PM  at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. 118 Shaw Ave., Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Interment will be privately held at Irwin Union Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, 1:30 PM at the First Christian Church in Turtle Creek.
