Rita Marie (Grill) Slade, age 66 of Monroeville, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at home. Rita was born on February 9, 1955 in Braddock to the late John and Mary (Fohr) Grill, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Marian Gardner; sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Grill and Marleen Grill; 5 nephews and 2 nieces and her beloved fur babies, Zoe and Misty. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John "Jack" Grill, Jr., Thomas Grill Sr.; nephew, Thomas Grill, Jr.; Friends will be received Friday, April 23, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Per CDC guidelines, masks are required and social distancing will be observed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Colman Catholic Church on April 24, 2021 at 10:00 am. We will meet at church. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
