Age 81 of Monroeville, formerly of Braddock Hills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Beloved husband of LaVerne (Krashna) Hickman. Loving father of Darryl, Roberta, David, Solomon (Bridget), and Reginald, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Latoya, Isaiah, Aamirah, Maria, Tyler, Dyamond, and Olivia. Also survived by his brother, Stanley Hickman; step-son, Sean; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Hickman; parents, McKinley and Lillian (Robinson) Hickman; and siblings, Maurice, George, Howard, William, Haddie, Hilda, Dolores, and Vivian. Reggie was a proud US Army veteran. Following his military service, he began working for J & L Steel where he retired after more than 19 years. He was active with the Steelworkers Union and was the Shop Steward for many years. He served his local community as a volunteer fireman for the Monroeville #6 Fire Department and was also proud to be a Mason. In his free time, he loved to watch Pittsburgh sports with a cold beer in hand. Above all, he enjoyed time spent with his family, especially the family vacations to North Carolina. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC.
