Patricia Joan (Lehneke) Schmittle

On Saturday, October 2, 2021, Patricia Schmittle (Lehneke) 76 of Turtle Creek, PA, passed away. It would be wrong to say that Pat lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Pat stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance and love truly look like. There was no quit in Pat. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. She was the kindest, most loving person I've ever known. She mothered everyone, so much so that our friends would often call her mom. She was born on June 6, 1945 in Trafford, PA to the late Elda and Arthur Lehneke. She was preceded in death by sisters, Judy Randolph and Janet Artman; and brothers, Ken Lehneke and William (surviving wife, Lisa) Lehneke. She is survived by many family members including her husband, Charles Schmittle. Her children , Michael Schmittle, Tina Schmittle, Sandy Schmittle and Debbie (Dave) Bolette. She was loved by grandchildren, Breonna Smith , Jeremy Bolette, Troy Bolette and Evan (Sierra Cantara) Bolette and great-grandchild Evelynn Bolette and many families and friends. If you were lucky enough to meet, know, or love a wonderful person like Pat, you were blessed. She will be missed. Rest In Peace. Friends will be received Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Colman Church-St. Joseph the Worker Parish October 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM .
