Nicholas C. DeFelice, 73, of Trafford, passed peacefully away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 with his loving wife by his side. He was born on November 25, 1948 in McKeesport to the late Nicholas and Rita (Roynayne) DeFelice.
Nicholas worked as an Electrician for U.S. Steel for 19 years & Bechtel Bettis for 33 years. He was a lifetime member of McKeesport Sportmen's Association, East Suburban Friendship Club, Young at Heart and AARP North Huntingdon Chapter. Nicholas enjoyed bike rides on the Great Allegheny Passage, Westmoreland Heritage Trail, and Lake Erie Peninsula. He loved visiting wineries and enjoyed train rides in his travels to 18 foreign countries and 47 states. Nicholas was an avid gardener and generously shared his surplus with others. He also enjoyed summer concerts at St. Clair and Monroeville Parks.
Nicholas is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years and one day, Barbara DeFelice; brother, William DeFelice; sisters, Rita DeFelice and Alicia DeFelice. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister, Margaret (the late, Jack) Carter.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 9, 2022, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, June 10, 2022, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11, 2022, 10:00 am at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City. We will meet at church. Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Irwin.
