Michael John Uchnar

Michael John Uchnar, age 89 of Plum, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Forbes Hospital. He was born in Braddock on November 21, 1931 to the late John and Marie (Perkosky) Uchnar. Michael worked for the Union Railroad for 38 years after he was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed creating meals for those he loved. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Beloved husband of 69 years to Rose Uchnar; loving father to Rose Marie "Missy" (Kenneth) Brown; devoted grandfather to Kaitlyn and Colleen Brown; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Donald Uchnar. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 18, 2021, 2-6 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC.
