Matthew McKinnon
Age 95 of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on June 7, 2020. Born on October 18, 1924, he was the son of the late David and Jeannie (Mackey) McKinnon and the husband of Betty (Henkel) McKinnon. Matthew served our country during World War II with the US Navy, and then spent his days working as a manufacturing engineer for Westinghouse. He was involved with the Eastmont Volunteer Fire Department, Penn Brotherhood Lodge F&AM 635 Penn Hills and was the Past Chief of Clan Scott #259 of Turtle Creek. He loved to work with his hands making model ships and numerous other woodworking projects. Matthew also loved to golf and to play with his jug band the "Liquidaires". A long with his wife he is survived by his children; David (Cathy) McKinnon, and Beth (Charles) Goldmann; grandchildren, Kristin (Jeff) Polisky, Lauren (Derek) Goldmann, Laura (Ron) Mauro, Dana (Adam) Eddy; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his 2 sisters. There will be no services for Matthew at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC.
