Mary A. (Jones) Kelley

Age 97 of Turtle Creek, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Beloved wife of the late John G. Kelley. Loving mother of Dennis (Sharon) Kelley, Kathleen Kelley and the late John Andrew Kelley. Cherished grandmother of David (Linda) Harrison, Connie (Chris) Pons, Alison (Jacob) Herrle, Erin (Jon) Curry, Brian (Michele) Kelley, and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Jones and Susan Jones Boone; and brothers, Robert, Norman, and Samuel Jones. She worked for many years as a school secretary and as a crossing guard for the Turtle Creek School District. She then worked as a librarian at Wilkins Elementary Steam Academy. Later in life, she would cover for various school secretaries in the area. She was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan. She also enjoyed many other sports including golf and Nascar and belonged to a local card club. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Church Hill Cemetery.
