Mark David Cree, age 62, of Murrysville, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Rose (Parker) Cree; and wife, Sara Cree. He retired after 25 years as a mail carrier with the Penn Hills and Monroeville Post Office. After retirement, he was an avid traveler who loved to visit historic sites. Mark was a wonderful brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He brought a smile to everyone's face when he walked into a room, especially because he was wearing one. He was kind, generous and compassionate. Everyone that knew him knew that he loved the Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. He loved his music and would always say he was a "true rocker at heart." One of his closest friends said, "Of course none of us will forget Mark. The hardest part of losing a friend like Mark is not having to say goodbye but rather learning to live without him. All we can do now is celebrate the great times we were lucky enough to have shared with him." Friends and family will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Per CDC guidelines, masks are required, and social distancing will be observed. Private burial will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank at https://westmorelandfoodbank.org or by calling 1-800-462-2080. Online condolences may be given at www.jobefuneralhome.com.
