Age 104 of Plum, formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Walter L. Cable. Loving mother of Andrew B. (Jill) Cable of Penn Twp. Cherished grandmother of Mallory (Ryan) Hendricks of Monroeville, Madison Cable of Penn Twp., Mary Ann Cable of Jeanette, and Wally Cable of Jeannette. Proud great-grandmother of Silas Hendricks of Monroeville. Also survived by her brother, Daniel (Rena) Sutter of Royal Oaks, MI. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter J. and Caroline Mae (Piper) Sutter of New Kensington, PA; and siblings, Evelyn Simson of Monacca, PA, James Sutter of Cincinnati, OH, Fred Sutter of Brownsville, PA, Loretta Althof of New Kensington, PA, and Doris Thomas of Melbourne, FL. Marion and her husband were the owners of Cable Trailer Sales in Lower Burrell for over 10 years. She was a long time member of First Lutheran Church in New Kensington. In her free time, she enjoyed painting watercolors, knitting, and crocheting, and entered many craft shows with her sister. Marion was also proud to be the State Champion in Archery for five years. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 2nd from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 3rd at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
