Maria (Hubish) Puskarish

Maria (Hubish) Puskarich, 76, of Penn Township, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1945 in Frankfurt, Germany, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kubant) Hubish. Maria retired from Forbes Hospital after many years as a CNA and a phone operator. She loved reading books, taking walks, going out dancing, and mostly spending time with her children and friends. She had a passion for gardening and truly enjoyed her flowers. Maria is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Drakulic and Tanya (husband Chris) Hettler; grandson, Daniel Joseph Schubert, Jr.; great-granddaughter, MacKenzie Schubert; sister-in-law, Betty Hubish; and nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Puskarich; and brothers, Arthur, John, and Theodore Hubish. Friends will be received Saturday, November 20 from 1-5 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral service will be private for Maria's family.
