Margaret “Margie” Annette Kinghorn
Age 71 of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 6, 2022. She was born on December 14, 1950 to the late Carl and Mary (Wampler) Cunningham. Margie is survived by her loving husband Lamar Kinghorn; daughters Beth Jones and Jean Lambert; brothers Thomas Cunningham and Charles Cunningham; grandchildren Aidan, Molly, Grace and Jess; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Margie was preceded in death by her sisters Dolores Helsel, Marion Dempsey, Joanne Cunningham and Caroline Smith. Margie enjoyed a long and successful career in administration at the University of Pittsburgh and spent the subsequent years traveling the world with her husband before retiring in Pittsburgh. She was an ardent Steelers fan and thoroughly enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and making their visits to Pittsburgh memorable. There will be no public service at this time.
