Marcella Ann (Motil) Iovino
Obituary
Marcella Iovino passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 80. Raised in North Braddock, Marcella eventually moved to Delmont, where she started a family with her husband, Carmen, and made many lifelong friends.
She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother and ”Baba” who filled those around her with love, encouragement and support. She was a hockey mom. A PTA mom. A dog mom. She loved scrapbooking and ceramics. She went above and beyond to make everyone feel special - from planning a dinner in her home for the entire Penn State women’s hockey team to overseeing the creation of the greatest cookie table a Pennsylvania wedding has ever seen.
She did most of this while also having a long, distinguished career as a secretary at Westinghouse in Monroeville.
Marcella was preceded in death by Carmen and her parents, Louis and Mary. She is survived by her son, Jim (Lea), her granddaughter, Ani, her cousin Karen and many other family, friends and neighborhood puppies.
