Larry C. Campbell, of Level Green, born on May 17, 1937, son of the late John A. and Jessie Morgan Campbell, passed away on June 28, 2022. He was a member of the Class of 1955 Slippery Rock High School where he established life-long friendships and met his high school sweetheart, V. Jean (Miller) Campbell. They were married March 6, 1959. A graduate of Slippery Rock University and Indiana University of PA, Larry had a career at Gateway High School as a biology teacher and then later, a school counselor. He was smart and witty and had a sharp sense of humor. He liked to make people laugh and always had a good joke to share. One not to mince words, Larry told things like they were. He enjoyed nature, gardening, golfing, fishing, woodworking, and fixing broken objects. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 603, Grove City, PA and Pittsburgh Syria Shriners for more than fifty years. Larry never gave up on life, didn’t complain, and was forever grateful to be the recipient of a transplanted kidney 39-1/2 years ago. Larry is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughter Mimi Campbell (Howard Haynie), niece Dr. Dreamalee Lamberti, sisters-in-law Donna (Alvin) Vogel, Carol Miller (Gary Glenn).
