Kenneth Lee Truxal, Sr., age 71 of North Huntingdon, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born on April 4, 1950 to Chester and Mary Truxal.
Kenny, aka "Popcorn" by many, was a hardworking, kind hearted, family devoted man. He could be found at work driving trucks at Prestige Paving alongside the guys he called family, in his garage with the door open and plenty of chairs for anyone who needed him, showing you all of his favorite songs on his iPod, and spending quality time with his family. Kenny will be remembered for always lending a hand. There wasn't a tool he didn't have or a car he couldn't fix. Most of all he will be remembered for giving his whole heart and soul to his wife every single day for 54 years.
He never turned down an opportunity to help someone. Whether it was being a father, brother, uncle. pap, or friend, he was the best at it. He will be greatly missed for his conversations, his laugh, the way he found the good in everyone he knew, and being the best company anybody could ever have. No matter the setting, Kenny had the people he encountered smiling and wishing he could stay to talk just a little bit longer. No amount of time with Popcorn could have ever been enough. Kenneth Lee Truxal can never be replaced. He was a one in a million kind of person and one to always be remembered.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon Lee Truxal; children, Richard Truxal, Kenneth (Tina) Truxal, and Danielle Truxal; grandchildren, Tonya Truxal, Ashley (Elliot) Peters, Taylor (Dustin) Barron, Krystel Balog and Daniel Balog; great-grandchildren, Finleigh, Lane, Declan, Wyatt, Oaklee, Clay and Cooper; brother, Gary Truxal; sister, Marion (Jim) Schade; sister-in-law, Jody (Christopher) Betras, brothers-in-law, Earl Morrison, Dale (Randa) Morrison, and Bruce (Jerry) Morrison, and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Truxal; brother, Daniel Truxal; sister, Carol McCoy; sister-in-law, Janet Morrison.
Friends will be received on Thursday, October 28, 2021, 2-4 & 6-8 at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950).
