Joseph Anthony Viglione
Age 97 of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on December 26, 2020. Born on December 15, 1923, he was the son of the late Anthony and Ingoronata (Mastromonica) Viglione and the husband of the late Ruth (Shukes) Viglione for 55 loving years. Joseph served our country during World War II in the United States Army. He then spent his working years as an ironworker at local #3, and he loved to race cars for the Pittsburgh Circle Track where he was inducted in to their Hall of Fame in 1999. He was also a loving father.  Joseph is survived by his children; Joseph Viglione, George Viglione, and Jennie McCafferty; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Along with his parents and wife, Joseph is also preceded in death by his sons John and Anthony Viglione. Friends will be received Wednesday December 30, 2020 from 2-8 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Per CDC guidelines, masks are required upon entry and only 10 people are permitted in the visitation room at one time. Funeral Services will be private.
