Joseph W. "Joe" Amsler, Jr.

Age 67 of North Huntingdon, formerly of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Beloved son of the late Joseph W. Amsler, Sr. and the late Lorraine (Hipple) Van Horne. Loving brother of Karen M. (fiancé, Vincent Roberto) Conti. Proud uncle of Jamie Starr Conti; and great-uncle of Cash Waylon. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Joe honorably served our country with both the Marine Corps and the Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed writing poetry, was an avid history buff, and taught Tai Chi classes. He will be remembered for his giving nature to everyone he met. Family and friends will be received Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2-6 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
