John F. "Jackie" Cima, 81, of Jeannette, died on December 30, 2018. He was born on July 12, 1937 in Penn Township, PA, to the late John and Frances (Ocepek) Cima. John is survived by sisters, Joan (late Nick) Susich and Anna Belle (late Clarence) Schupbach; nephews, Robert (Laura) Susich, Barbara (George) Stagon, Jim Susich, Bill Schupbach.
Jackie was a dog lover, avid sports fan, and fierce competitor. He loved the Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins. He was a lifelong resident of Penn Township (McCullough). Jackie enjoyed playing softball with his neighbors and cheering on the PT Warriors. He will be remembered in many ways, notably for his big smile, contagious laugh, and huge heart. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, at 11:00 a.m., St. Barbara Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Barbara Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Humane Society Humane Society Road Route 119N, Greensburg, PA 15601.
