John Saflin Obituary

John George Saflin, 87, of Salem Township, died on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born on February 26, 1933 in Croatia, to the late Lawrence and Theresa (Stanta) Novosel. John is survived by his beloved wife, Donna (Kapusta) Saflin; son, John I. (fiancee Kim) Saflin; grandchildren, Savannah and Zack; and great-grandchildren, Joseph and Jonathan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Joseph Saflin. There will be no visitation. A blessing service will be held Monday, January 25 at 10:00 AM at St. John Baptist de La Salle Catholic Church followed by interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
