John J. Raspanti

John J. Raspanti, age 89, of Plum Borough, formerly of Morningside, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Mary Mangone Raspanti.  They were married for sixty-two years.  He is also survived by, and was proud of, his four children, Joseph, Peter (Robbin), Julie (John) Marengo, and Tina Raspanti; his six cherished grandchildren, Rachel, John (Amanda), Carli, Jessica, Alana, and Domenic; and two great-granddaughters, Briella and Maisie.  He was the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia Botta Raspanti.  His deceased sisters are Josephine Larkin and Mary Rose Kramer; his surviving sister is Jacqueline Sepp.  He graduated from Central Catholic High School (1949), served in the U.S. Navy (1951-1955), and graduated from Duquesne University (1959).  He retired as the Pittsburgh Branch Manager of the Department of Defense Contract Audit Agency.  In compliance with CDC guidelines, visitation and interment will be private.
