Age 85, of Pittsburgh, PA went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (Celender); Loving father of Joseph (Maria), Cynthia, Jeanine Marie (Ronald) Campbell, John (Rose), Jr., Peter (Davon) and the late Antonio; Adoring Pap of Christina, Joseph Jr., Domenic, Nina, Mario (Emma), Danielle, Antonio, Giavonna; Cherished brother of Mary, Anthony (Barbara); also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Joseph Jr. and Rosalie. John was a barber for 65 years and an accomplished business owner in Monroeville for decades. John prided himself on his military service, stints as an operatic tenor for the Palm Springs Opera and teaching Italian in five dialects.  He was well respected and will be remembered by all who knew him for his tireless work ethic and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by many. Family and friends will be received at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747), on Tuesday, July 17 from 2-4 & 6-8pm where a blessing service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am.
