John E. "Jack" Henigan, 82, of Paintertown, died on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born on November 26, 1938 in Wilkinsburg, to the late John F. Henigan and Marie (Fritchey) Mikula. Jack was a US Navy veteran who served on board the USS Intrepid. He had a long career as a machinist with Wabco before retiring after 39 years, and was a parishioner of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Jack loved to golf and enjoyed playing in outings and in his league at Irwin Country Club where he was a member. He was an outdoorsman who hunted and fished with his sons and was a member of Irwin Sportsmen's Association. He also enjoyed going to car shows with his sons. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Marlene; two sons and a daughter, John M. Henigan, Richard E. (wife Chrissie) Henigan, and Sharon (husband Mike Rainey) Henigan; three grandsons, John Patrick, Ryan Mark, and R. Ethan Henigan; and a sister, Joan Kestler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Cheslock. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 23 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 24 at 11:00 AM at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City, with Father Michael P. Sikon, officiating. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
