JoAnn (Shallo) Boyd
Age 82 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Born on July, 11, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosalia (Grazil) Shallo, and the wife of the late Howard M. Boyd, for 52 loving years. JoAnn loved to spend her time reading her books, and volunteering at the grade school library, but her family will always remember her as an avid collector of all things. JoAnn is survived by her children; Charlene Pollitt, Charles (Sheila) Boyd, Sonya (John) Jessell; and her grandson Trey Jessell. Family and friends will be received Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a blessing service will be October 16, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor her at your church with a catholic mass, or a donation can be made to Vincentian Nursing Home, 111 Perrymont Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 .
