Jacalyn (Palangio) Watko

Jacalyn (Palangio) Watko of Plum, previously of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard S. Watko, and her parents Bernard and Mildred Palangio. Jackie is survived by her daughter Samantha Watko (Chaz) of Plum and brother Timmie Palangio of Blairsville. Jackie was born and raised in Irwin, PA. She was employed at Pittsburgh Reflector, Gage Trucking, St. Johnsbury, NW Transport and West Penn Auto Auction. She retired from XPO logistics, formerly Conway Freight. Jackie was an excellent seamstress and known for her pierogies and sweets. The family wishes to thank the AHN hospice team as well as the doctors and staff at Forbes Regional Hospital and Cancer Institute who cared for her.
