Throughout her life, Ingrid held various positions that showcased her dedication and work ethic. She began her working career as a Secretary at Mansfield Army Base in Germany. After leaving Germany she worked as an English-German translator at the University of Pittsburgh, utilizing her linguistic skills to bridge the gap between languages. She also had a passion for German soccer and could often be found in front of the television cheering on her favorite team, Bayern München. Additionally, Ingrid found peace and enjoyment in tending to her garden, nurturing plants and flowers with love and care.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her loving husband and soulmate, Clyde Greenaway, whom she married on June 15, 1962. and spent the next 61 years making special memories with him; her three children: Wade (Amy) Greenaway, of East Liverpool, OH, Karin (Matt) Carnine, of Tucson, AZ, and Michael (Terrie) Greenaway, of Murrysville, PA.
