Ida Mae (Ashbaugh) Lyons

Ida Mae Lyons, 95, of McCullough, died peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2023. She was born on January 4, 1928 in Wegley, Pennsylvania, to J. Howard and Cora Ashbaugh. She was a member of Brush Creek Lutheran Church, Penn Township Senior Citizens, and the Harrison City Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary.  Ida is survived by her beloved children Karen (Daniel) Antis of Georgetown, KY; Darlene (John) Sandrick of McCullough, and James (Lisa) Lyons of Harrison City; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Kayla, Joshua, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Alize', Elijah, Moriah, Jaelynn, Delilah, Landon, Luke, Ariannah, Aaliyah, Avery; great-great granddaughter, Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer G. Lyons; parents, J. Howard and Cora Mae Ashbaugh; and her great-grandson, Micah. Friends will be received Friday, October 27, 2023, 5- 8 p.m. at the Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., Rev. Roger L. Steiner, officiating. Private burial to follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery. The family would like to wish a special thanks to all of the caregivers at Three Rivers Hospice and her "granny-sitter," Samantha.
