Age 77 of Monroeville, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Darlene Frances (Kosicek) Pistella. Loving father of Darla Jean (Kyle) Annonio and Gerald S. (Aaron Billger) Pistella. Also survived by his siblings, John V. Kappler, James D. Pistella, and Maryann Buyny; nieces and nephews, Nicole, Natalie, Melissa, David, Scott, and Charles; and great-nieces and nephew, Lilly, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Josie. Preceded in death by his parents, John Francis and Virginia Marie (Becker) Pistella. Jerry worked as a master plumber all of his life, retiring from the Allegheny County Health Department after 10 years of service. He was a proud member of Local 27 Plumbers Union where he proctored the plumbing test. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, boating and camping; and most of all loved spending time with his family. He was an outstanding father and always put his children first.
