Age 87 of Monroeville, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. Beloved husband of Rheita (Conklin) Fischer. Loving father of the late George E. Fischer and his surviving wife, Michelle, and the late Michael Fischer and his surviving wife, Pam. Cherished grandfather of Amanda Pelow, Samantha (Ryan) Jensema, and Kimberly (Kelsey) Mohamed. Great-grandfather of Eloise and Nora Jensema, and Maxwell Pelow. In addition to his sons, he was preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Helen (Rahsman) Fischer. George honorably served as a Captain in the US Army. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Murrysville, and proudly served as treasurer at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Braddock. Family and friends will be received Friday, August 20, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. As a courtesy to the family, masks will be required.
