George Arthur Bolkovac, Jr., 77, of Export, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1946 in Greensburg and grew up in Dunningtown, PA, son of the late George and Mary (LaFrance) Bolkovac. George is survived by his sister, Linda M. (Richard) Johnston of Greensburg; nephew, Mark (fiancee Kelli Shaffer) Johnston; two grandnephews, Garrett (Brandi) Johnston and Cody (Maddy) Johnston; great-grand niece, Finley May Johnston; and many cousins. Prior to his retirement, George was employed by Penn Area Library. George was a graduate of Franklin Area Joint High School, class of 1964. He loved doing crossword puzzles and watching Westerns on TV. George was a kind soul and a friend to everyone. Let us remember his great spirit, love for life and family. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their compassionate care given to George. George's family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring love and support during this time. As per George's wishes, there will be no visitation.
