Eleanor (Bank) Salamone
Age 98 of Pitcairn, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. She was born on November 25, 1924 to the late Carl and Rose (Bunchtrick) Bank. She is survived by her daughters, Leslie (Donald) Pennington and Dianne Progl; grandchildren, Tricia Pennington, and Ryan Pennington. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nicholas Salamone, and by 11 siblings. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 3-7 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:00 am at Center Avenue United Methodist, 614 Sixth St, Pitcairn, PA 15140. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in North Versailles at 11:00 am, where we will be meeting at the cemetery chapel for prayers.
