Dorothy Lucille (Schofield) Krystek, 96, of Penn Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at William Penn Care Center. Born November 15, 1923 in Wilkinsburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Edith (Hunt) Schofield. After raising her family, Dorothy worked at the Presbyterian Home in Oakmont in the food service department, where she retired after many years of service. Dorothy is survived by her beloved children; Donald Krystek of Penn Township, Dean (Lynda) Krystek of Enola, Dale (Ann) Krystek of Mars, Dan Krystek of North Huntingdon, and Dianne (Michael) Lapsevic of Irwin; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Krystek; granddaughter, Sarah Lapsevic; brothers, Herbert Schofield and Harry Schofield, Jr.; and sister, Elma Spears.
