Donna M. (Kapusta) Saflin

Age 81, of Salem Twp., passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Donna was born on June 13, 1942 to George and Franca (Tonkovic) Kapusta. She is survived by her son, John I. (fiancee, Kim) Saflin; grandchildren, Savanna and Zachary, great-grandchildren, Joseph and Jonathan, three brothers and three sisters. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John George Saflin, and two sons, Steve and Joseph Saflin. Donna was selfless with raising her grandchildren and loved partaking in helping her great grandchildren. They were her life. Donna was a longtime volunteer at the Delmont Salvation Army and was a die hard bingo fan! Her voice and laugh will be most remembered. Wherever she went, she was loved and cherished. Friends will be received Monday, November 6, 2023, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 10:30 AM at St. John Baptist de La Salle, Delmont with Father Teodoro Cortezano officiating. Burial will follow at Twin Valley Memorial.
