Donald Frank Davies

Donald F. Davies passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 89. Donald was the son of Frank J. and Florence M. Davies. He was married for 65 years to his beloved wife, Lois. He is survived by Lois and his son, Michael (Debra) Davies. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred. He graduated from Edgewood High School and then from Carnegie Tech (CMU). After graduation, he served as a Lt. in the US Army Reserves. He worked at US Steel and Westinghouse as an Industrial Engineer, a Cost Accountant, a Computer Analyst and a Manager of Computer Systems. He then taught Accounting and Computer Programming at CCAC. He and Lois lived 56 years in Monroeville and more recently at Longwood at Oakmont. Family and friends will be received Monday, October 3, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747).
