Delphine "Del" Alva (Martin) Lewis

Age 101 of Turtle Creek, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Beloved wife of the late George Howard Lewis. Loving mother of Jack Martin (Donna) Lewis, Nancy Ann (Dennis) Ewing, and Pamela Jean (Frank) Frola. Proud grandmother of Ian Lewis, Brooke (Scott) Young, Tyler (Megan) Ewing, Cora (Aaron) Frola, Shea (Bradie) Frola, Rebecca (Nick) Frola-Biss, Andrew (Jesse) Riley-Frola; and great-grandmother of Rioty Lewis, Avery Young, Carter Young, Miles Ewing, and Piper Ewing. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Cora (Brooks) Martin; and eight brothers and sisters.

Del worked as a department manager for J.C. Penney, retiring after over 40 years of service. She was a long-time faithful member of McMasters Methodist Church. In her free time, she loved to knit and crochet and always looked forward to enjoying her daughter's homemade pizzas. She also loved cooking and baking, and her family was always impressed with her annual Thanksgiving dinners. Most importantly, Del loved spending time with her family and friends.

Friends will be received Friday, September 15, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at McMasters Methodist Church.
