Obituary

David J. Hoover, 65, of Penn Township, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021, at his residence. He was born March 10, 1956, in Greensburg, to Kenneth and Josephine "Jay" (Pagare) Hoover. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and camping. He was also a member of American Legion Post 260 in Claridge. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his sister, Kathy R. (Bill Rock) Hoover; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth D. Hoover. Friends will be received Monday, from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 pm, with Rev. Geoff Rach, officiating at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City (724-744-2721). In accordance with the family's wishes, all visitors are asked to wear a mask.
