David A. Crawford, 68, of Greensburg, died on Sunday, January 16, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 1, 1953 in Pittsburgh, to the late Thomas R. and Jane (McKeown) Crawford. Dave's professional career spanned more than 35 years in the government and private business sectors. He had many professional awards, honors, fellowships, and memberships, including co-founding the Instrumentation and Analysis Society (IAS), and was a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Management Program in the Carnegie Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration. Dave was a member of Norwin Elks Lodge 2313, and thoroughly enjoyed camping, golfing, and was particularly fond of his pets. A true Pittsburgher, Dave loved the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Patricia A. Burger Crawford; loving children, Jaime (Ron) Crawford-Englehart and David (Andrea) Crawford; two grandchildren, Brooks Englehart and Charlotte Crawford; brother, Tom (Kathy) Crawford; two sisters, Kathy (Steve) Moore and Alison (late John) Smiley; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Funeral mass and interment will be held privately for family. A remembrance celebration will be held on Saturday, January 29 from 1 to 4 PM at the Norwin Elks, 135 Elks Lane, Irwin, PA 15642.
