Dana M. Rodericks, age 47, of Salem Township, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, as a result of a vehicle accident. He was born on October 10, 1974 in Newport, RI, a son of Gloria (Gray) Shank of Salem Township, and the late Manuel R. Rodericks. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher M. Rodericks. Dana was an over-the-road trucker and he loved having his family with him on trips. He was presently employed by Big's Sanitation. He loved hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He was a Son of the American Legion and was affiliated with Slickville American Legion Post 18. Dana spent time volunteering at All But Furgotten Animal Rescue, Sable Kennel, and Westmoreland Community Action. He loved being with his family and adored his kids and grandkids. In addition to his mother, Dana is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Jodi (Skinner) Rodericks; five loving daughters, Jessica Rodericks, Maranda Rodericks (Michael Vo), Christine Rodericks (Joe Crise), Autumn Rodericks (Justin Gelpi), and Cassidy Rodericks; two cherished grandchildren, Arabella Rodericks and James Crise-Rodericks; a sister, Dawn Clever; and many friends and extended family. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday, August 9 at Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381), where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 10. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
