Chuck Tasik

Chuck Tasik, 86, of Salem Township, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 peacefully in his home.He was born on August 20, 1933 in Glassport, to the late Joseph and Mildred (Shandor) Tkacsik. Chuck honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War. After discharge, he started a long career spanning 43 years as a studio engineer at WTAE Channel 4. His grandchildren were his number one priority and his pride and joy. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Fran; four sons, Mark (Susan), Chris, Glenn, and Karl (Suzette) Tasik; sister, Nancy Tacsik; 7 grandchildren, Rachael, Sara, Kyle, Brad, Steven, Reid, and Sierra. Private arrangements entrusted to Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381). Burial will take place in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
