Chris Doberneck

Christian J. Doberneck, 68, of Penn Township, died on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was born on March 1, 1953 in Jeannette, to the late Charles and Mary (Raynak) Doberneck. Chris was a code enforcement officer for the City of Greensburg for 43 years. He enjoyed working around the house and working on cars, and bowling in the Elliott Co. Wednesday league for many years. Chris loved to travel, especially on annual trips to Florida and Ocean City. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheri (Shearer) Doberneck; loving children, Crystal (husband Clinton) Doberneck and Chad Doberneck; grandchildren, Quintin and Jonae' Doberneck; siblings, Charles (wife Tina) Doberneck, Suzanne Laird, Christine (husband Robert) Parker, Hillary (husband Ronald) Guttman, Monica Smith, Amy (husband John) Kirkling, and Thomas (wife Christine) Doberneck; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where a funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 18 at 11 AM.
